The National Association of Town Watch (NATW) is sponsoring a unique nationwide crime, drug, and violence prevention program on August 3, 2021 entitled "National Night Out." The "38th Annual National Night Out" provides a unique opportunity for Warrenton and Warren County citizens to join forces with thousands of other communities across the country in promoting cooperative, police-community crime prevention efforts.
The Warrenton Police Department plays a vital role in crime, drug, and violence prevention efforts in our community and is supporting "National Night Out 2021" locally. It is essential that all citizens of our community be aware of the importance of crime prevention programs and the impact that their participation can have on reducing crime, drugs, and violence in our community. Police-Community partnerships, neighborhood safety, awareness and cooperation are important themes of the "National Night Out" program.
Please join us in supporting this event and building greater cooperation between our Police Department and the Community. The event is free and will have community program information, activities such as face painting, dunking booth, bounce house as well as live entertainment, and refreshments. There will be a Highway Patrol boat, Police vehicle, Police helicopter, ambulance, firetruck and National Guard Humvee at the event.
The event is being held at the Warrenton Athletic Complex off Hickory Lick Road, 2015 Jaspering Lane.
