Interstate 70 and State Highway MM Interchange & West Warrenton Blvd.
The Warrenton Interstate 70 & Highway MM interchange opened August 2018. This second interchange west of State Highway 47 has exit and entrance ramps to Interstate 70 that are navigated by roundabouts. The new roadway has been named West Warrenton Blvd. which leads over the Jerry Dyer overpass bridge to connect the north and south outer roads. The new interchange greatly improves access to the western portion of Warrenton and has spurred commercial development of the adjacent properties. Raul Walters Properties has taken over ownership of the former outlet mall, rebranding it as The Shoppes at Warrenton. Retail tenants have started moving in with an 85,000 square foot Rural King, America’s Farm and Home Store, as the largest anchor store.
Warrenton’s logistical advantage along the Interstate 70 corridor and within an hour drive of St. Louis or Columbia, MO make it an ideal location for both retail and manufacturing businesses who wish to take advantage of highway access and visibility. This new interchange opens the door to these opportunities in the City of Warrenton.
