EXPLORER POST 9111
Our Law Enforcement Explorer Post was established in 2011. The Exploring Program, which is under the umbrella of the Boy Scouts of America, provides youth ages 14-21 with an opportunity to learn about, and participate in law enforcement. The Post meets twice a month at City Hall. Police Officer advisors provide training to the Explorers. Training topics include, patrol functions, traffic stops, traffic direction, first aid and many other aspects of law enforcement. The Explorer Post helps out with community functions as part of their regular duties. Participants must be 14-21 years of age and a graduate of the eighth grade.
