The City of Warrenton will resume Residential Inspections which have been closed due to the pandemic, starting July 1, 2020.

There will be new restrictions as we will be following all CDC guidelines:
1.No more than one person on site during inspections.
2. COVID-19 Residential Inspection Questionnaire with Application for Residential Inspection Permit needs to be completed and returned to the Building Department at City Hall prior to the inspection.
3. Payment is due at the same time the application is submitted.
4. The property owner must contact the city 24 hours in advance to schedule an appointment.
The inspector will use the Residential Inspection Checklist and make the decision if the inspection passes or fails. Temporary Permits have been suspended during the pandemic.
Social Distancing will be required during the inspection.
