Warrenton Aquatic Center COVID-19 Guidelines
We are currently following the state guidelines to the best of our ability. 
Please be patient, as guidelines are continuously changing. 

1. Aquatic Center is open to Memberships Only & their guests
2. Hours will be re-evaluated in the weeks to come depending on attendance.
3. All patrons will be required to wear a face mask when not in the water.
4. Temperature checks will be administered. Patrons with a 100 degree temperature or higher will not be allowed into the facility.  
5. Showers will not be available.
6. Restrooms will be open but limited. Please change quickly.  
7. Only a few chairs on the pool deck and lockers will be available. You may place personal items in designated areas on the pool deck. 
8. To honor the 6 foot social distancing, not all areas of the pool will be open.  
9. Exercise time is limited to 1 hour starting at the time of the temperature check.
10. Rec-Swim is limited to 1.5 hours. 
11. The facility attendant will disinfect the pool area and restroom throughout the day.

• Current Membership holders will have their expiration date extended to make up for the lost time.
• New Memberships are welcome and can be purchased online or at the Aquatic Center.
• Unused punch cards may be used for rec swim with an Aquatic Center member. New punch cards will not be sold. 

Recreational Swim Guidelines

Rec swim reservations require submitting a completed waiver form prior to swimming.

1. Recreational swim time will be divided into time slots. Due to social distancing, only twenty spots are available in each time slot for members & their guests.

2. Member must be present with their guests at all times and must stay for the duration (1.5 hours) of the reserved time slot.

3. A pool member must make the reservation for the desired time slot and the number of spots for their guests. Reservations are made by calling the pool or registering online (Click Here) at least 24 hours in advance. View the Pool Hours for scheduled time slots.

4. Reservations may be made less than 24 hours in advance as long as the time slot still has available openings. A member still needs to reserve the time ahead of arrival, register all guests, provide waivers, and be present for the duration of the rec swim time.

5. All guests (whether or not they swim) must pay the $4 admission fee. Unused punch cards are accepted. New punch cards are no longer for sale. 

6. If possible, please arrive and depart dressed in your swimsuit. Due to social distancing guidelines the changing rooms will be available but on a limited basis. Showers will not be available. 

7. Guests ages 9 and older must wear a face mask when arriving and leaving the facility, and during their visit when they are not in the water. Masks are not required when in the water.

8. All general pool rules apply. We encourage guests to review the pool rules before arriving.

 Warrenton Pool Park Aquatic Center

The Aquatic Center is a year-round facility located in the Warrenton Pool Park. It features an outdoor pool that overlooks the park's largest lake, future walking trails, and ADA fishing dock. It sports a diving board, lap lanes, water bench, ADA lift chair, and canopy lounging area. 

The indoor pool has a zero entry inviting visitors of all ages into the water. A big friendly turtle smiles from the top of its slide while clam and fish buddies shoot water at kids playing in the splash station area. Adults can watch their kids at play from a built in water bench. A two story slide awaits the older more daring adventurers. The rest of the indoor pool boasts an ADA chair lift, lazy river, and lap lanes.

If you would like to make your visit a special day of fun, there is a party room available to rent for any special celebration.

General Pool Rules

General Pool Information

All children age 13 and under must be accompanied by a responsible person* while using the facility.
*Responsible person age 16 or older

The responsible person* must be in the water, within arm’s reach of a child who is under age 6. For children ages 6-10 the responsible person* must be in the pool area while children. Maximum 3 children per responsible person.

Infants and Toddlers in or around the water should be within arm’s reach of an adult at all times.


Swim Test

Lifeguards reserve the right to swim test anyone, prior to allowing them to swim in deep water.

Obey the lifeguards at all times.
Failure to do so may result in loss of pool privileges.


Pool Parties

Parties are not being scheduled at this time.

The Aquatic Center has a party room available for rental. You can choose from several different rental options. To make a party reservation, visit the Aquatic Center during open hours or Register Online

Be sure to submit the Pool Party Contract Application with your registration.

• We are unable to take reservations and payments over the phone or at City Hall. Please visit the Aquatic Center to make reservations or register online

• The Pool Party signed
contract application and full payment including a $50 refundable cleaning deposit are due at the time of booking.

• Parties must be booked two weeks in advance of the chosen date to accommodate staffing and food orders.

• For a party booked LESS THAN two weeks from the chosen date it will be booked for Room Only (a cake/pizza party is not an option) and needs approval of a pool manager to accommodate staffing.

• Cancellations must be made no later than two weeks prior to the date of the party in order to obtain a refund or reschedule the party. Rescheduled parties will be charged a $10 processing fee.A processing fee of $50 will apply for all cancelled reservations. Cancellations less than two weeks prior to the scheduled date of the party will not receive a refund.

Swim Lessons

Private Swim Lessons Available
(Due to COVID-19 group lessons are not available)

Swim Lessons are offered for all skill levels and ages. Each session of the swim lessons meet at specific times and dates weekly.

Water Aerobics

Drop-Ins Now Welcome!
You can call ahead or simply arrive in time for class.  $5 Members, $7 Residents, $10 Non-residents.
*Class openings must be available. Classes are limited to 8 spots.

Water Aerobics
are a great workout for any fitness level! Perfect for those with arthritis or just beginning a fitness routine. For ages 16 & up only.

Due to COVID-19 only 8 time slots are available in each class, so register early! Register at the Aquatic Center.

*You must show proof of residency at the time of registration.

Due to COVID-19 Rec Swim Guidelines and limited time slots all persons entering the pool regardless of age, or whether or not they swim will pay a $4 admission. Pool punch cards will not be sold until further notice.

• A city resident is any individual residing within the city limits of Warrenton.

• Family Pass consists of at least one adult plus three additional members under the age of 21 living in the same household. More children may be added at an additional cost per child. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by a responsible person (age 16 or older) while using the facility.

• Children 13 and under must be accompanied by a responsible person (age 16 or older) while using the facility. Responsible person must be in the water near child. Limit of three children per responsible person.

• Anyone over the age of 16 must provide proof of residence (City water bill or State issued ID).

• Each individual who receives a pool pass will be issued an ID card with their picture. This ID card must be presented for entrance into the pool area.

• A pool pass may not be shared. Any individual caught sharing their pass may be subject to loss of privileges including revocation of the pass without reimbursement.

• Season passes are good for one year from date of purchase.

• The Swim Punch Card* can be used by the person in possession of the card. It will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

Swim punch pass can be used by multiple people including use on the same day. Groups of 10 or more are required to notify Aquatic Center management in advance to schedule group visits. Please review Aquatic Center Rules prior to visit.
